XBHL was founded in 2002 by Hamed Sedeghi and Gino Sciretta. Their goal was to give the average Ball Hockey player more than just a simple hockey game. Founded with the intention of creating a multi-ethnic league, XBHL has most probably the most diverse ethinic player base in Canada.
